A family-owned, boutique campsite nestled on the edge of the Quantock Hills. It is perfectly situated for access to the hills and our local pub via a scenic footpath. As born and bred locals with a passion for nature, we can help you plan your excursions, whether you wish to retrace steps taken by Wordsworth and Coleridge, walk King Alfred's military road across the Quantocks, catch the steam train, hunt for fossils on our jurassic coastline or visit our local towns steeped in history. If you'd rather stay closer to home, we have an onsite woodland walk, wildlife pond full of fish and landscaped grounds with a plethora of indigenous species, including resident woodpeckers, a kingfisher, ducks, moorhens, owls, bats, newts, and water voles. We also provide complimentary fire fits and BBQ facilities and allow for renting of a whole paddock or complete site for groups. And no need to leave your four-legged friend behind, as we're dog and cat friendly (as are most of our local pubs).  Perfect for Duke of Edinburgh groups.
